Registration with our anticipated litter

I have been thinking hard about whether to transfer Nova's registration with the Japan Kennel Club (JKC) to the American Kennel Club (AKC). After carefully looking at our options and processes that would require of us to participate in, I have come to the conclusion that transferring her registration jeopardizes Nova's integrity of her origins. Nova was born to a breeder in Iwate Prefecture, Japan. We want to showcase her Japanese identity with her litters. When we evaluated potential sires for this anticipated litter, we recognized we will go with choosing a sire that embodies the breed standard, and most importantly, their personality and temperament for family, rather than arbitrary formalities of whether the parents or subsequent litters would be registered with the AKC. Our priorities through this initiative remains clear: we want to provide our clients with the best furry companion, and nothing less of that. This may change as our goals evolve as we explore our options, but how it currently stands, this anticipated litter will not be registered with any kennel club.
